Lower armature built

It was a busy day of cutting and welding the pencil rod armature into place on the Downey’s Farm sign. In all, there were about 400 pieces and 800 welds (so far). Matt has a head start on applying the diamond lath. Tomorrow’s task is to weld the armature on the center tower portion and fabricate the sign mounts. In the middle of next week, the crew will begin the sculpting of the stonework while I build the files and route the sign faces. Stay tuned….
