I find it enjoyable to try and lay down a perfect bed of weld, and it is relatively easy when you are in position, but just as often our structures require a weld out of position (upside down). Today’s welds were upside down and low to the ground, which meant it was time to spend some time lying on the floor. The resulting welds weren’t the prettiest, but they are plenty strong. Tomorrow we are on to the pencil rod, which goes pretty fast. Stay tuned…
