My day didn’t go nearly as I imagined a Saturday should. It dawned grey and rainy, not unusual weather in these parts for this time of year. I came out to my studio to do a little task but was called away to help out a family member in the neighboring town. They needed a ride to the hospital and we spent much of the morning and early afternoon in the waiting room. Thankfully it proved to be less serious than feared and everyone got to go home to rest. I headed back to my studio to finish my brief task started many hours before.

Like always as I worked I took the time to look up from my desk and admire the changing view. The dingy grey skies gave way to a golden glow as the clouds embraced the mountain behind and the sun dipped towards the horizon. I grabbed my camera and captured another spectacular show in Yarrow. It was a wonderful way to end a day.
