Generally I don’t get to choose when I get into the Christmas spirit. About this time each year (sometimes a LOT earlier) my phone will ring with a request for a design for a Christmas display. This year was no different.

The surprise each year is the type of project. Sometimes it will be a parade float for the Christmas parade. It can be a Santa’s village or display, signs to spread the greetings of the season or a creative light display. In past years we’ve created all manners of things.

It all started back when I was fourteen when I did seasonal window splashes. Nowadays the projects are a lot more complex and a lot more fun too! It’s fun to be Santa’s helper.

In spite of the Christmas feeling in the workshop I’m not quite ready to put up the lights on the house quite yet...
