Today, at last, was the day we sculpted the little hot rod. Matt and I also welded up the front spoked wheels and learned to install tires on them without the aid of a tire mounting machine. It took some effort, four large flathead screwdrivers, a large rubber mallet and some experimentation but we managed just fine - with a little sweat applied to the task. The end result was a fine looking hotrod that looks like it is leaping off the starting line of a drag race. There’s a little sculpting on the engine to complete before the painting process begins.
