Playing architect

One of the careers I considered in my early twenties was architect. I even took one year at BCIT learning the trade. I decided I didn't like the technical aspects of the business. I didn't want to spend my years at a desk and I discovered I best loved to draw freehand. Since then I have designed many buildings, art directed many projects, most often putting a creative twist on plans drawn by others. It's a fun job! Today's project was the final version for a store/restaurant/house in Squamish. The client came with a plan in hand. My job was to fancy it up. This is going to be a very fun project!
