One tree - to go

It is fun to sit with my sketchbook and draw idea after idea, each one wilder than the last with the intention of eventually putting together a collection of the best ideas and then going out to the workshop to actually build them. For the Trinidad project I've done well over a hundred concept drawings, most of which have made the final cut. The eighteenth hole feature of the adventure golf is one of my favorite pieces for the project. Hangman's Tree is also one of the most complex pieces of the collection. It will be a hefty challenge to fabricate it in such a fashion to allow it to be broken down to fit into a shipping container for transport about 4,500 miles and then taken out and reassembled again on site.

There will be plenty of head scratching and shop engineering to make it all work I'm sure but as always we'll find a way and learn plenty in the process. It is going to be a lot of fun!
