AAARGH - right on matey!

I've designed quite a few adventure golfs in a wide variety of themes. I've tried to stay away from three often overused used themes... pirates, jungle and windmills as they were just far too common. But a pirate theme always interested me - but only if I could do it in a very unique fashion.

Through the years I've designed three such developments but for various reasons none of them were ever built. With each pirate themed golf I designed we used the stereotype images to be sure. Treasures, skulls, eye patches, peg legs, a tall masted ship and all that. A pirate theme wouldn't be pirate without these things. but there has always been a twist in my designs too - just to take the things over the top - WAY OVER.

For the last few years I've been in touch with a fellow down in the Caribbean about a new facility down that way. It looks like the opportunity may now at last be right. Imagine a REAL Pirates in the Caribbean Adventure Golf.

The best thing about building a pirate theme adventure golf that far south is that  I wouldn't have to build fake palm trees. :) Stay tuned...
