The branches for the tree we are building for the Surrey mini golf are now complete. Below Matt is tweaking the last branch. I grabbed a picture. Although Matt is featured often on our journal, few readers know what he looks like for he most often is wearing welding helmet. :)
HEAVY DUTY brackets
At our last meeting our customer asked for some ‘substantial’ brackets rather than something flimsy. I assured him we would make them heavy duty as is our way. Today, I cut the first of the sign brackets - from half inch thick steel plate. I truly believe they are heavy duty enough. :) They are going to look great!
According to plan
The gas company installed the meter today in the front of the Hazelnut Inn. It’s massive but tucked into the space perfectly. Even without any landscaping in place the meter has amazingly largely disappeared - just as we planned. They’ll hook up the pipes tomorrow and then we can complete the landscape camouflage. The meter reader may just have trouble locating it when we are done. :)
