Roll out the barrels...

We've been looking forward to building a fun pub for a great customer in Ontario for some time. It had to wait it's turn in a series of projects. There have been a number of versions and revisions of these features on the drawing board for the last couple of years but today at last we created the final scale drawings and cutting files. All through the day we've been loading sheet after sheet of heavy steel plate on the plasma cutter with the forklift. The machine did it's magic while we did the final grinding. Tomorrow we'll begin welding the many pieces together. We'll be building two of each of the giant features. It's going to be a very fun project! Stay tuned...

Sculpture Magic Workshop

SOLD OUT - The next workshop will be held in the spring of 2019

Please submit you name and email below to be placed on the cancellation/waiting list and to receive advance notice of the spring workshop.

We are delighted to announce an upcoming Sculpture Magic Workshop to be held October 12 - 14, 2018.

The three day workshop will show just how the Imagination Corporation team accomplishes our MAGIC on a daily basis. To do this we will guide you through our process of story creation and fabrication. Over the course of three days Dan, Peter, Becke along with our skilled crew will demonstrate and guide you through the process of design, armature construction, sculpting, and painting. We will show how the same design principles and sculpting techniques work on any size project, and with a variety of materials. Each student will sculpt a project of their own, following step by step as Dan, Peter, and crew demonstrate how even a very complex project is not at all difficult when broken down into small steps. The personal project will use Precision Board, sculpting epoxy, paint, and much more! We will show each student how to use the most basic tools to create texture and detail in such as way as to make the projects simpler and faster to finish. Dan will also give a series of talks about his design principles, how we determine the price, and how we market our unique work in a world wide marketplace. We'll do our best to answer every question you may ask!

There's only five seats left which will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. For more information go to our workshop page.
