Sometimes ideas come so easily and sometimes they take a little more effort. A recent project is currently going through the design phase. The owner had just finished redoing their building, meaning limited renovations made sense. The budget is limited (as is most often the case). The client didn't yet have a logo which left lots of room to be creative without constraints. The business is situated on a busy road. The challenge was to design an instant landmark. They liked the feel of our previous work which meant we could do what we do best. After two days of thinking and scribbling the idea came to me in a flash. They do car detailing. An antique car in a bathtub visually got the message across in an instant. It will undoubtably be memorable.
Submersive!
The glazes really brought the crab submersible model to life in a hurry. A little gold dry brush polished things off with some fun bling! The piece looks both formidable and well used. It turned out pretty cool!
