While I was travelling south to attend the Corn Party farm show in Texas, the crew was in the shop welding up the armature and tying on the lath to the fronts of the DOWNEYS letters. The crew made good progress, and the letters are looking great! By the end of the week, we should be able to get a handle on sculpting the woodgrain into the concrete facings. Stay tuned…
