Our second day at the Disneyland Resort was spent at California Adventure. Juniper favours the more extreme rides, while Henry prefers slower attractions. With lots of encouragement, Henry agreed to try the Grizzly River Run. Henry’s first ride, with a little trepidation, instantly became his favourite. It was so much fun that we went down the rapids two more times. The kids wore raincoats, and Grandpa, with much wisdom, elected to purchase a poncho. The others braved the river in street clothes alone. Grandma got absolutely soaked, and Peter and Hailey were definitely on the rather damp side. Traffic in the entire park was pleasantly light, and we had a blast all through the day. Tomorrow we are back at Disneyland. Stay tuned…
