Today was very warm, the last hot day of the summer we are told, with the temperatures gradually falling through the rest of the week. Our painting crew is making the best of the sunshine, with plans to keep working hard and finish the biggest section of Vala’s pirate ship by week’s end. The weatherman is promising much cooler temperatures next week and some much-needed rain. As soon as this large section is complete, we will move back into the shop to paint the balance of the pieces.
