The painting crew now has the second base coat of paint on Tim’s Measuring Tree. They took a painterly approach, purposely leaving rough brush strokes. These will quickly even out as the painters apply the glazes in the next step. We’ve learned to be bold at this stage, as the final glazes tone things down considerably. This will look great when placed in the Apple Orchard area of Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. Stay tuned for more progress…
