Delivery day is always exciting, On Saturday we delivered and installed the last bunch of signs for the Oyama Estates project. The owner wanted everything nice and fresh for the grand unveiling. By installing just hours before the event we complied with his wishes.
The day dawned bright and warm - perfect for our task. The trailer was filled with gleaming gold lettered signs and I drove carefully to the worksite so as to not scratch anything. In about an hour we had mounted the big and small signs and planted the signpost on the corner.
As with many of our projects we had not previously assembled all the pieces but rather built them separately and transported them to the site. For the first time it finally resembled the concept drawings. While it is one thing to imagine and even draw how something will appear it is a very different thing to see it for the first time for real. It made me smile to see the rock work (done by Stonetree Studios) with our tree perched on top and our gold leafed signs gleaming on the front. It was everything I had imagined.
Another job was done.
