Cap’n Elias, the swing ship ride namesake is coming along nicely. Jay has the base colours just about finished with the glazes soon to follow. This sculpture will proudly stand atop the stone castle tower entrance for the ride which is to be installed next year at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska.
Test day
Today was test day for Henry’s cannon. We loaded the charge and handed Henry the control box. We then began a countdown from three… but he immediately pushed the button. As fast as that, the test was done. Short and sweet but perfect! Most importantly, Henry was delighted with the result. Parade day is only three more sleeps…
Janis' magic
Every square inch of the Hazelnut Inn has been handcrafted over the last year. Each member of our crew and family has contributed in their way. Janis has been putting in countless hours quilting curtains and bedspreads. She is down to the final details with only four sleeps until the Open House on Saturday, and things look mighty fine!
