One thing leads to another!

It is interesting how so often one small idea leads to another and another. Before you know it a project becomes much, bigger than you imagined. In the spring we decided to remove and replace the overgrown shrubs in the planter in front of the shop. We cleared the planter which revealed that the area behind the missing shrubs and concrete in front of it desperately needed a serious pressure wash. This small job quickly became a deep clean to the front of the entire shop. The cleaning revealed that the paint on our twenty-one-year-old shop building and our signage looked somewhat faded and aged. And so it was decided before we planted the new shrubbery that a repair, and refresh was in order. The shop is already looking much better! Stay tuned for the final result soon…

Endless welding

It is looking much more like a pumpkin already. When the armature is finished we will tie on the diamond lath and then begin applying the fibreglass-reinforced concrete and sculpting in the detail. This will be an exquisite piece when we are finished. Stay tuned…
