A grateful heart

It’s now been one year since I had open heart surgery to receive a six-bypass and I am happy to report that I am feeling good. As I enjoyed the warm sunshine this afternoon, mowing our large expanse of grass I had plenty of time to reflect on all I am so grateful for. The list is long. Family, of course, is the most important. They support and encourage me continually. Friends have done the same through the years and I appreciate each of them greatly. It gives me joy, every day, to go out to the workshop at the back of our property and do the things I love, designing and building fanciful creations. I am also very grateful to each of our crew who work hard to make our visions come true. I am extremely grateful for my first bonus year.

FIRE!

On Friday the electrician hooked up the switches and wiring for the fire pit in the North Star garden. Last night after dark, we finally got the chance to give it a test. As the flames sprang to life MAGIC happened. This will be the perfect spot for a romantic evening with your significant other, sitting by the warm glow of the fire and planning a wonderful future together.
