I was in Pennsylvania this past week visiting with some wonderful folks who are planning a very exciting new project. For now, what we are dreaming up will remain under wraps. It will be worth the wait :). While I was in the area I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular fall colours, especially as we travelled the scenic country roads.
Materials delivered
The North Star suite of the Hazelnut Inn is now almost ready for the final sculpting of the remaining theme work. There’s been a flurry of activity this week as the crew did the last welding, application of the plywood backing, and stapling on the diamond lath. That meant it was time to bring in our friends from Wishlow Cranes to lift the needed concrete materials up to the upper garden. It is a whole lot easier and faster to do it this way rather than packing up the four pallets of heavy materials by hand. Next week we’ll fire up the mixer and get to work. Stay tuned…
Almost painted!
Krysia and Kendra are down to the last coats of paint on the giant flower stalks which will act as lights for the Secret Garden golf at Castle Fun Park. The massive plants are looking great and will soon be moved out of the shop to join all of the rest of the pieces.
