The lower third of the giant mushroom castle is now fully painted and ready to ship. The middle section and top piece are in their final stages of glazing. This coming week they will be finished and staged out in the driveway awaiting installation.
It's a castle!
The workshop is full of very large castle pieces. There is a tall central tower on top of which will sit the giant dragon currently under construction. Two walls will curve around it to form a mini maze, through which golfers will play.
Evening ride
Summer is my favourite season without a doubt. That’s when the top is off the Jeep and the bike gets lots of miles. As the temperatures dipped a little this evening was the perfect time to ride. I rode the trails next to the river, riding briskly but not too hard. The air was a little smokey on account of the forest fires to the south and east of us. The good news is that the smoke did make for a spectacular sunset as I headed home.
