This week, I did an extensive interview for a group called ‘Better Sign Shop Podcast’. We talked about many things and as is their custom they asked me what I would advise I would share with other sign shops to help them change their business. I suggested the first thing they work on is their own sign. It should be the very best they can possibly do. This is something I did many years ago. The sign we created so long ago changed our business. It still looks great and works well for us to this day.
Peter in the pumpkin
There’s a whole lot of pencil rod welded into the photo op pumpkin. Keith did the bulk of the welding as Peter art directed and Matt helped some. The giant pumpkin will be easily big enough to accommodate a family of six or more. I’ll bet this is going to be a popular place to grab a selfie when it is installed at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska. Next week we’ll tie on the galvanized lath. We’ve got only got a month to finish this and all the other pieces we are building and sending this year. Stay tuned…
Truck pumpkin sculpted
The crew was busy today sculpting the giant pumpkin on the back of Vala’s truck. Suddenly it makes sense that the front wheels are off the ground. Next week the painting crew will begin working their magic as they finish putting this piece together. Stay tuned…
