Spring has sprung!!!

The sun shone gloriously this afternoon and with it came the warmer temperatures at long last. Early last week I mowed the lawn for the very first time this year and I’m happy to report it will need mowing again before the week is out. As I came into the house for lunch today I couldn’t help but notice that the first of the spring crocuses were in full bloom. Spring has sprung!!!

WOW!

The features that are scattered throughout the shop are now a whole lot more colourful than when I left for Denver last week. They are looking fabulous! My favourite, of course, is the giant dragon sitting on the mushroom. He now has his blend coats with the first of the glazes set to begin tomorrow. Our awesome painting crew is adding pure magic to this mythical creature.

Just having fun!

This past week I had a wonderful business trip to Denver to look at an exciting new project and with the clients’ help determine the scope of our endeavours there in the coming years. I was also privileged to be able to add a couple of days in the Denver area to visit a long-time friend and his family. Since they are brand new grandparents, that of course included spending some time with two-month-old Isaac as well. I am proudly known far and wide as ‘the baby hog’ and did my best to continue that tradition when Isaak was around.
