The giant trees for Catoro Cafe now have all of the bare, wood grained areas sculpted. On Monday we will begin sculpting the bark to cover the balance. They look very big and will certainly be a challenge to move into the tight space and stand up into position in the building. It’s going to be fun!
It's a tree!
In my absence the crew has been extremely busy back home. The Catoro trees are now ready for the sculpting process which began today. The biggest challenge of this project is how to transport the pieces, get them through a 3’ doorway and then tipped up into place safely. We’ve invented some interesting new rigs and will gain valuable experience in the process.
Clean sweep
I would like to believe that because of my time away on the site visit to the midwest my efforts in the workshop have been sorely missed. It turns out I was correct. Someone had to pick up the slack but I didn’t have to worry. Little Henry volunteered to do some of the work grampa would normally do. Henry can make a clean sweep of any task he tackles. Have fun in Nebraska grampa.
