Our little tractor is my winter happy place. And having enough snow to have to plow the driveway is the best compensation I know for being cold. (I dislike the cold a LOT!) The good news is that our driveway stretches for more than 400 feet so when it snows I get plenty of tractor time. The weatherman tells me that tomorrow morning I’ll get another crack at it. :)
Cold snap
We are in the middle of our first (and only hopefully) cold snap of this winter. The worksite is quiet as it is far too cold to apply metal lath with the steady north wind we’ve had of late. Instead we are hunkered down in the nice warm shop prefabricating lots of pieces which we’ll fasten in place when the weather thaws. The good news is spring, warmer temps and longer daylight hours are less than a month away. We are waiting…
A colourful tower
The inside of the Copper Crown tower is almost painted with only a bit of glazing to finish. This picture was taken looking through the window. Guests will see the inside as they lay on the bed so it will be a very different perspective. The colours are warm and subtle and this same look will be featured throughout the entire suite. It is going to look fabulous when it is done! Stay tuned…
