The top tower cap and weathervane of the Copper Crown now has a dragon perched on top. The cutting, welding and grinding are complete and it is ready for its copper paint. I can hardly wait until the day it flies up to its permanent perch soon. Stay tuned…

Today we said our good byes to two great guys who’ve been with us for a while. ‘Little Matt’ and Denzie (on the left) put in their last day today. Both Matt and Denzie have been great fun to work with, willing to do anything we asked and always eager to learn something new. We wish them both great travels as they move on to their next great adventure.

The Copper Crown castle will have a total of four turrets. Today I started cutting and applying the shingles on the third one. It is only 32” tall with about 91 shingles per roof so it isn;’t going to take very long. The fourth and last turret is the same size.
