As we walk through theNorth Star Suite of the Hazelnut Inn the size of the room is now clearly evident. The suite is about six hundred square feet and with vaulted ceilings it seems much larger. The domed tower ceiling which will start at the bottom of the circular beam and will be framed this coming week. Once the framing of the walls and roof is complete we will removed the bracing from inside the ship and then begin the stairs and the multiple raised levels of the room. By the new year we should be able to begin the detailing of the interior of this suite.
Quickly taking shape
The Hazelnut Inn is now quickly taking shape. The bulk of the plywood sheeting is now on the main roof of the North Star suite. The tower roof trusses will be lifted into place next week. We also installed the main sign for the inn this past week. Now passersby will know what this unique place is. The website for booking a room is set to open in less than two weeks!
Clayburn Pet Hospital sign finished
The front side of the Clayburn Pet Hospital sign looks pretty good too! The 23K gold lettering adds a whole lot of class and the animals add the necessary character. We can hardly wait to see it in place next week!
