I spent a good part of the day on our small tractor clearing the blanket of snow from the long driveway, parking lots and sidewalks of our property. After two days of dark grey skies the bright sun made for an incredible scene, sparkling through the ice that coated absolutely everything. The weatherman is calling for two more days of cold before things thaw out once more. I'll be hunkered down in the nice warm shop - now that I can get there without wearing boots. :)
Frozen solid
We've been having an ice storm for two days and things are rather frozen up locally. After two days of cold I'm ready for spring! :) Thankfully the shop is nice and toasty as I work on a fun project.
More progress on the robot
I spent a little more time in the shop this afternoon working on the Coastal Enterprises robot table. I managed to sculpt the bulk of the body, Instead of rivets I decided to model slot head screws as fasteners, to give the little robot more of a retro feel. We've actually banned slot head screws from our shop years ago and replace them when we come across them in an assembly. I should be able to finish the bulk of the sculpt tomorrow if all goes well.
