The View From Our Window
The last two days have gone by in a flash despite starting early nd going late into the night. We have a large group of very enthusiastic students.
I'm in the shop early to set things up and our guests are already coming in the door eager to begin the fun once more...

Tonight we set up the tables and chairs in both the new house and shop. The house will be where we take our meals. The space in the living/dining rooms is perfect to extend a very long table through it (without moving the living room furniture) seating up to 30 people. No one will be stuck at the kid's table when we have our family celebrations. :) The workshop meals will be the first test run for the setup.
Out in the shop the tables and chairs will be used to do our many hands-on projects. This is the first time we can leave everything in place when we take our meal breaks. It is going to be great!
Only one more sleep until the fun begins.

I've recieved many recent emails from folks attending the coming workshops. All are excited as they do their last minute preparations for the trip here tomorrow. A few were wondering if they were getting name plaques as they hadn't appeared on the blog. The truth is there are 30 plaques in all , with only a random sampling shown in the last weeks. Rest assured however there is a name plaque for everyone atending both workshops. There is also one for each of our staff in the shop.
