I was sitting with family on our back porch on Canada Day (July 1), and as I enjoyed the warm sunshine, I was struck by how pretty our house was from my vantage point. It has been more than 13 years since we moved into the house, and familiarity can sometimes make one take things for granted. Back when we built the house, we desired to live in something we created with the same care and detail we lavish on our customers’ projects. Ten years on, our effort still holds, and I am still grateful.
