I did the preliminary design of my entries for next year’s Sign Invitational very shortly after the theme was decided and announced. I’ve been using IBEX software to design the CNC files in my spare time and have been really itching to start the actual fabrication of the signs. Since our crew was all enjoying time off today, it allowed me to fire up the Shop Sabre router at long last. While the CNC router was doing its thing, I designed a base and fired up the plasma to create the base for the X-Edge Tool sign. There’s still a little more cutting to do but it won’t be long until it is time to do some fun sculpting. Stay tuned…
