Sandbox heaven

Juniper and Henry have one of the biggest and nicest sandboxes that I know of, and they’ve been happy there for years, making sand castles and mudpies. This afternoon, they were roaring around the yard on their powered carts and discovered the shipping container out back that is the fine sand bin. This is sandbox heaven, with more than 20 cubic yards of sand up to 7 feet deep at the rear. They had a blast all afternoon, digging very deep holes and playing in the sandbox. At quitting time, they discovered that one of Henry’s shoes and elbow pads were missing. It took Peter twenty minutes of serious digging to find them. I suspect the kids now have a new favourite place to play.
