We never seem to do things the easy way. Matt has been busy in the Copper Crown in the Hazelnut Inn, laying tiles on the lower floor. He started with the center tiles of a seven-foot diameter circle in the sitting room. These were laid square to the room. Then came an outline of cut border tile. Now Matt is beginning to lay the balance of the tile in the room on the diagonal, with a row of cut border tiles around the perimeter. This kind of complex tile pattern means tons of cutting and fitting, but it will look fabulous when it is all done! Stay tuned to see it come together…
