Matt & Jay have been busy welding the sturdy steel armature. The rowboat armature is now complete, and the eight tentacles are well underway. Because each arm has twists and turns, the structure needs plenty of cutting, fitting, and welding. Every piece is custom-cut. Next week they will move on to tying on the diamond lath, and once that is in place, the sculpting will begin. Stay tuned…
