Concrete day

It was a banner day in the Copper Crown Suite’s garden. We started pouring concrete early, and things went well. Our crew placed the concrete, trowelled it smooth, seeded it with stones and trowelled it flat again. In the summer heat, it hardened quickly. By noon, the forms were off, and after lunch, Peter gently pressure-washed the new sidewalks to expose the stones. The last job of the day was to place the soil in the planters, preparing the gardens for planting. With the outside theme work now complete, the crew will concentrate on finishing the inside.
