Henry loved the sculpted embossed flames and rivet bands and could hardly wait to begin painting. It took a while to select some suitable colours from the vast range we have on hand but with a little research online and some gentle coaxing from gramps and dad the choices were made. Then the painting began. True to Henry’s style it didn’t take long to cover the cannon with a first coat. We set up a fan and turned up the heat to speed the process.
