The Copper Crown Suite has a small upper interior balcony that is perfect for an imaginative display piece. A while back, Becke saw one of my Sign Invitational pieces and took a liking to the toad playing a dragon harp. She suggested a larger version of the harp be created for the display. I started working on the harp as a holiday project, something I could leisurely work on over our Christmas/New Year’s break. When I have a little time, I wander out to the shop and do some work. Today’s task was to create the armature, cutting the harp shape from three layers of Precision Board HDU and shaping the pieces. I also did a little welding and basic sculpting on the head and tail.
