The interior of the North Star suite at the Hazelnut Inn is quickly taking shape. I would estimate well over half of the hand sculpted concrete is now in place. It’s a bit of a patchwork as selected areas are done. This brickwork detail is up in the gable end of the ceiling over the kitchen. Broken plaster will surround it which is why the bricks fade off on the edges. The plaster work should be done by the end of next week. It is a difficult to get more pictures currently with all of the scaffolding still in place.
