My fingers and hands are sore from endlessly applying the epoxy medium to the pumps... and now the biggest piece - the car patiently awaits. I decided to tackle the massive trunk first since it was the largest body panel - and the most boring. Surprisingly, progress was swift and so I continued on with the rear quarter panels and then on to the rear fenders. By five o’clock I was delighted with the progress - but more than willing to give my fingers a break. As I looked over the car I decided it needed one last detail...

Since it would be parked next to the gas pumps it desperately needed a gas filler door. I used the last gob of epoxy to quickly fashion one into the side... and declared our work done for the day. Tomorrow we tackle the interior which is bound to be a lot more fun than the expansive trunk...
