We spent the day finishing off the rigs and loading the trailers in preparation for the big move tomorrow morning. Everything was checked thoroughly and then checked once more. We’ll tighten up the straps one last time tomorrow and then check them again just before we hit the freeway. We know all too well (from experience) that we simply can’t be too careful with a load like this. The second, trailer holds the smaller sign tree, scaffolding bits and the heavy duty ramp we fabricated to facilitate moving the trees off the trailers. The entire crew is excitedly anticipating the adventure. Our hope is that every worry we might harbour is for nothing. Tomorrow is the day…
