Today was a day for sculpting. Because of uncertain weather it was declared a shop day. That meant work was to be done on some smaller pieces. The first was the last concrete sculpted piece for the Cultus Lake project in the shop. We had salvaged a sign background from the old clubhouse. It had some sentimental value and was deemed worth saving. To do so it needed to have some posts and a backing grafted on. Then it was time for the concrete work with the style carefully matched to work we had done fifteen years ago.
The first of two pirate ships for the Trinidad signs has been getting lots of attention. The base for the ship is visible in the background.
The sculpted treasure chest for the Bountiful Booty store has also been taken care of. It has plenty of detail from every angle.
