We are working on the larger pieces with the intent on putting them into the shipping containers first and then filling in the remaining space with smaller pieces. We have a number of parge pieces underway. The KRAKEN is now ready for paint. The treehouse base is still in the wiring stage but will soon be ready. It's being worked on out in the parking lot. The house portion of the treehouse is now also ready for the wire. That left room in the shop to bring the ship back in. The first order of business was to build a sturdy frame and bumper to keep it safe on it's long sea going journey in the container. We then lifted the ship in the air and slid the frame under it.
Once the ship was secure on the frame we made some minor modifications to make doubly sure it could be squeezed into the container without rubbing the sides. The front of the frame will be used for smaller pieces that will fill the space.
Tomorrow we'll begin the sculpting process. Stay tuned...
