I've heard it said that a good captain goes down with his ship. In our shop a good captain stays after the crew is gone to try his best to stay ahead of the hard working crew the next day. :)

Today was no exception. It didn't take long to finish the welding on the upper (poop) deck of the ship. Tomorrow morning the crew can have at it to put on the wire.

The rest of the ship was finished earlier this afternoon and pushed out into the sunshine for wiring. Angie had spent lots of time under the welding helmet yesterday and today to finish the bulk of the welding on the rear portion. This thing is LARGE.

Jack continues to weld up the cannons and the crew is busy aplying the wire to all we weld up.
