I'm excited to be back in the workshop this week. There is so much still to do at the site but it will be a few more weeks before it is really warm enough to do the concrete work there. In the meantime we'll continue to welding up at the site but in the shop we'll be busy mudding and painting the pieces that will soon make the trip up there. We've only got five months to go before opening day. It is critical that we make the best possible use of every minute left. With the cooler weather we are the most efficient in the shop for the bulk of the work to be done at this point.

I walked through the quiet work site today, looking at what has been accomplished to date. It's very cool. I could also clearly imagine what the park will look like when it is done. That will be cooler yet.

When I got home from my drive to the lake I grinned a big ol' grin when I drove in the driveway. The parking lot in front of the shop is still full of pieces that will be soon delivered. In the shop are two more large pieces, well under way.

It's going to be a great week!
