The meat market sign has been pushed off to the side for a few days while we met some other tight deadlines. Now it takes center stage once more for the painting process. First came a couple coats of primer and now we start in on the fun part... COLOR!

In this picture Kristen is putting on the base coat. Rebecca will take from here and add layer after layer of colored glazed, gradually building up to the final result. The glazes will enhance the textures I sculpted in. I’m really looking forward to the finished project. In a few days it will be done. Once the paint cures I’ll add the golding on the nose ring for that final bit of sparkle.
