Progress was rapid again today on the little car. Bec did some priming and base coats on the gas pumps while I was busy on the car. The pumps and sign are looking pretty fine. The interior, dashboard, windshield and passenger door were sculpted to completion. This only leaves the front fenders, grill and hood to go... and we should be able to accomplish those tomorrow without too much trouble, hopefully.
Other projects and deadlines are beginning to press in the shop and I am working on those things when I am not sculpting. I’ll be posting pictures of the progress on the signs in the next few days. It’s a busy time in our shop - something I am very grateful for in these economic times. I am very optimistic about the future as things seem to be improving rapidly and we have lots of work to keep us busy.
Now it’s time to kick back and do a little bit of relaxing in Yarrow...
