Generally when the journal gets few entries it is because I am extremely busy. Our ninth Sign Magic Workshop was held this past weekend. Our guests from as far away as Maryland, Maine, Georgia, Minnesota, Colorado, Alberta and around British Columbia started arriving on Wednesday. By Thursday afternoon everyone was here and the fun began for real.
We learned CNC 3D software, carved, sculpted, welded, sawed, painted and generally had a blast creating all manners of projects and samples. Along the way we made some great friends who share our passion for this craft.
Today our shop is strangely quiet, everything put away in it’s place. I sit exhausted but happy and richer for the experience. While I did my best to share the things we have learned in forty years of this craft, there were more than a dozen folks teaching me.
Thanks to my family and extended family for creating such a wonderful experience. Now we get back to our normal routine... until the next Sign Magic Workshop in March.
