BACK TO WORK!

After far too many delicious Christmas treats and more than a few days away from my desk it was long past time to get back to work. The day dawned clear and bright although I was still snoozing. My conscience wasn’t bothering me too much however for we are officially closed until the New Year. When I did stumble out to the shop I decided to start my time by bringing some finished projects out to their final home in the yard.

The paint on our new mailbox was hardened nicely. I borrowed the neighbor’s forklift for the task and it installed in a couple of minutes. Now the paper boy has no excuse for papers scattered to the wind.

This officially finishes a project started back in October at our workshop. The step-by-step of the entire project is further back in this journal. The project looks great out in the daylight. As I admired the project I glanced over at the other sign in the driveway... after five years out in the sun it looks kind of tired and very dated... I think it will be the next to get redone... a perfect project for the March Sign Magic Workshop!
