We are now down to touch-ups in the Under Hill suite of the Hazelnut Inn. The cleaning and painting crew are inspecting every square inch to repair every ding and splotch, and drip, ensuring everything is perfect. The city inspection is on Monday, and then it is time to begin moving in the furniture and start decorating. Stay tuned for more progress!
Touchups
It’s exciting to transition from the construction phase to the touch-up phase of the Under Hill project at the Hazelnut Inn. The gas fireplace is now installed (and working perfectly). To complete this task, the custom rock work needed a little touchup. The planters have been weeded and turned over in preparation for new plants in the next couple of weeks. There are only 29 more sleeps until the open house on June 7th.
Pumpkin Eater complete!
Peter the Pumpkin Eater is now finished and will roll out of the shop tomorrow. As I was leaving the shop this evening, I took the time to admire the rich blends, shadows and highlights. Our painters really pulled out the stops on this piece! It will look great in the Storybook Land at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch in Nebraska!
