The painting crew has been pulling out the stops as they jump from piece to piece layering on the paint and glazes. This coming week will be momentous as they put the finishing touches on all the wall sections for the entrance facade at NEB’s Fun World. The entire crew has laboured for many months on this project and it is going to be spectacular when it is all assembled on site. Final details
The lower pickup window section of the NEB’s entry wall facade is nearing completion, along with the sections that stack over it. The painters have a few touchups and dry brushing before it is ready to roll out the door. Stay tuned…
Waterwheel stone base
We opted for a cut-stone look as we sculpted the massive base for the waterwheel. We kept Keith busy mixing and wheeling the concrete as Matt & I troweled. The base armature measures eight and a half feet by six feet by almost ten feet tall. With the rockwork sculpted, it looks even bigger! It is going to look great with the big waterwheel sitting on top. This piece and the water barrel will be allowed to cure before we begin the painting process. Stay tuned…
